a. Definitions (09/30/2016) A HUD-Registered Real Estate Broker is a real estate listing or selling broker approved by HUD to list or sell HUD Real Estate Owned (REO) Properties. A Listing Broker is a HUD-Registered Real Estate Broker who lists HUD-owned Properties for sale. A Selling Broker is a HUD-Registered Real Estate Broker who submits bids on behalf of prospective buyers.
