These Terms govern your use of Claude for Compliance (the “Service”), operated by CF Synergies, LLC. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
Independence and trademarks
Claude for Compliance is an independent service of CF Synergies, LLC. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Anthropic, PBC. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC; other product names mentioned on the Service, including ChatGPT, belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
Not legal advice
The Service — including the regulatory library, playbooks, kits, and templates — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not legal, compliance, tax, or financial advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. Your compliance obligations depend on your specific facts. Consult qualified counsel and your regulators before relying on any material here.
Accuracy and “as is”
We work hard to keep regulatory text accurate and traceable to its primary source, and we link those sources so you can verify. Even so, the law changes, sources move, and errors can occur. The materials are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Always verify against the primary source before relying on anything. You are solely responsible for your compliance decisions and any documents you produce using the Service.
Use of the materials
You may download and use the materials for your own and your organization’s internal compliance work, subject to any open-source license terms stated for a given file. Don’t repackage or resell the materials as your own product, remove attributions, or imply that we endorse you or your work.
Third-party tools and links
The Service references third-party AI assistants (such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT) and links to regulators and other sites. We don’t control those tools or sites and aren’t responsible for them; your use of them is governed by their own terms. Do not paste confidential borrower data or PII into any AI tool unless your organization permits it.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the Service: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach security, no abusive scraping or automated overload, and no use that infringes others’ rights.
Automated access through our MCP server is permitted. The MCP server exists so that AI assistants can query the Service on your behalf, and that use is welcome within its rate limits and daily capacity. We may limit, throttle, or suspend access that exceeds those limits or that we reasonably believe is abusive, including bulk extraction of the corpus through the server. The full corpus is published for download; please use the downloads rather than the server if you want all of it.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CF Synergies, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service or reliance on its materials. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed USD $100.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CF Synergies, LLC from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms; the “last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
