HUD Handbook 4000.1 III.A.2.i.ii(A)(2) — Repayment Plans Standard

The Mortgagee must review the Borrower for a Repayment Plan if the Borrower affirms the monthly installment amount required under the terms of the Repayment Plan Agreement is affordable.

HUD Handbook 4000.1 III.A.2.i.ii(A)(2) — Repayment Plans Standard, Term Cap

• ensure the term of the Repayment Plan does not exceed 24 months; and • require the delinquency to be repaid in equal monthly installments, in addition to the Mortgage Payments, over the term of the Repayment Plan.
